SHOW #21

8/21/21: Liz Longley

Arguably one of our best.

SHOW # 20:

6/26/21: SAY DARLING and Monica Rizzio Trio.

What a day.  Second show of the year, and our twentieth overall.   It seemed like a longshot, to get Celia Woodsmith and Say Darling, but after about three years, and a beautiful day in June, the backyard never sounded so good.  With Chris Hersch being the one that made it happen, doing double duty with Monica Rizzio as her guitarist, he's clearly grown from being the lead guitarist in Girls Guns and Glory, to the front man of Say Darling, and other projects.  Chris shows pure style, alongside Studio 84 favorite Monica Rizzio, as the opener,  as well as leading a five pc band, Say Darling.

Show #19

06/06/21: Brian Dunne

First show of the year, from Brooklyn, Brian Dunne.  A tough gig, for a solo artist, when it's a beautiful day in June, a year and a half after a pandemic has kept everyone away from live music, and they want to get together and catch up..  Indoor shows are more controlled, with a little less chatter, but it was a great day, good time had by all.  The only official product of Studio 84, Bea Sweet Granola was in the house.

Show#18

09/05/20: Monica Rizzio and Friends

Beautiful day outside at the Stage Cage.  Originally we booked Monica Rizzio alongside her friend and one of our favorites, Lisa Bastoni, but allergies got the best of Lisa, and the day of saw her cancel.  In steps the incomparable Matt Borrello, and new-comber Jacob Gervais, to supply the opening acts, with a full day of music for all.  We still want Lisa Bastoni to play, and at some point, she will.

Show#17

08/08/20: Ward Hayden and The Outliers

Keep your distance.  Even with a pandemic, the full band show was beyond good.  The show was the first time out for our favorite act, in front of a live group, since that Covid stuff came around.  Fabulous day, and the Stage Cage was perfect, and so was the weather, after two previous rain dates.

This needs to be an annual show.

Show#16

STUDIO 84 AT ON CRANBERRY POND

02/29/20: Matt Borrello and Danielle Miraglia

Great show, before everything changed for live music, when a certain virus put everything on hold.

How many more will be there, only time will tell.  Another great breakfast at the B&B the following morning, served by the amazing Jeannine.  I think she's getting the hang of these shows.

Show#15

STUDIO 84 AT ON CRANBERRY POND

02/07/20: CHRIS TRAPPER

Inaugural show at OCP, 43 Fuller Street.  Fabulous show with Studio 84 favorite, Chris Trapper.  With rooms for lodging, the smart ones booked a room, didn't have to drive, and the cost of the show was included in their room.  Plus, the breakfast the next morning, top notch.  Chris was the perfect choice to kick things off at the B&B.  Complete with "balcony" seats, and plenty of room for the preshow potluck, not to mention parking, can't wait for our next show.

SHOW#14

ROBINSON TREACHER 10/26/19

New York and Nashville based artist, Robinson Treacher, another Falcon Ridge Folk Festival find, was a total blast.  Soul, folk, Blues, Country, and then some, mixed together, made for an excellent show.  Good time had by all, as far as I could tell.

SHOW #13

DANIEL CHAMPAGNE 09/21/19

Number thirteen was not unlucky for us.  International touring artist, Daniel Champagne, from Australia, living in Nashville now for 6 years, was in a word, incredible.  Jaw-dropping, amazing, and most if not all who came were treated to a gem of a night, with sounds that had to be heard, and seen.

SHOW #12

PETER MULVEY

Seasoned veteran, road warrior, Peter Mulvey filled the room with incredible sound, true art,  and some good jokes.  Another great crowd on hand, some newbies, and we hope they come back for more.

SHOW #11

IRISH MYTHEN

Irish Mythen, who tours internationally, has opened for Melissa Etheridge, and is used to playing in front of hundreds, sometimes thousands.  We were lucky enough to book her for March of 2018, but when she got hit by the flu, we were even luckier, that she made good on her promise, to rebook.   November rolled around, and she drove from PEI, during her time off, to put on a hell of a show.  Great crowd on hand to witness her power, wit, and overall talent.  Somewhere down the road, we hope to have her back.  CHECK THE GALLERY FOR PICS!!!

SHOW #10

HAYLEY REARDON 09/29/18

Hayley was the perfect "10".  A milestone, for our series, after doing only two shows per year, occasionally three.  Hayley was another Falcon Ridge Folk find.  Twenty two years old, but musically she's well beyond her years.  Compare her to whoever you want, buy Hayley, sounds like, Hayley.  Great crowd on hand, to witness the talent of someone who's gonna be around for a long time to come.  Joni Mitchell from what I understand, was 22 at one point.

SHOW #9
MATT BORRELLO 09/23/17
What's in a name?  Apparently if it's Matt, a boatload of talent.  Two Matt's in a row, and each one spectacular.  Great crowd, including a fair amount of new-comers, for one of the best local artists around.  Playing a bunch of his own tunes, as well as covers that pleased all, everyone seemed to enjoy.  The night included the special request line, where Matt took calls, and delivered perfectly, playing along in what I call The Theatre of the Absurd.  With our ninth show behind us, it's on to #10, with the amazing Irish Mythen, in March of 2018.

SHOW #8

MATT NAKOA 03/25/17
Incredible night, with Matt Nakoa.  Matt has been touring with, and opening for Folk legend Tom Rush, for the better part of two years, but with the talent he has, his own shows prove he's bound for glory.  With our largest crowd yet, everyone left the same, in complete awe, blown away.  Adding to the show, was a special guest brought by Matt, Kirsten Maxwell, also from New York.  Our next performer, Matt Borrello, added to the recipe, joining on couple songs. Everyone who came said the same thing, this one will be tough to beat.  Withdrawals are setting in, as we wait for our next show, September 23rd.

FROM 03/25/17

SHOW #7

KEVIN GORDON: 09/24/16

Our seventh show in total, and one of the best, with Kevin Gordon.  He drove 2-1/2 days from East Nashville, played 14 shows in 15 days, ours being the second night, and the room sounded as good as it ever did.  Surprise appearance by half Jewish, half Cuban Conga player, Izzy Ricardo, joining Kevin for one song.  Kevin was kind enough to book our show, which he did first, and then all the other dates were added for his trip to the Northeast.  Can't thank him enough.  A tough show to follow, but we'll be trying again, for our next one in March of 2017.

SHOW #6

DOUBLE D AND THE HAYMAKER

DAVID DELUCA AND WARD HAYDEN  03/26/16

First show of 2016, was wild. How do you beat the last show, with Chris Trapper?.....

You do it with David DeLuca, alongside Ward Hayden, from Girls Guns and Glory.  This one took some planning, with the busy schedule they both have.  To get them at this stage of their careers, to be willing to play our "little series", is a major get for us, and we thank them both.  Ward has been here once before, alongside Sarah Borges.  This time he was with his partner in crime, Dave DeLuca, who plays early and often, here there and everywhere, and with everyone.  Usually fronting Double D and The Bluesmakers, when he's with Ward, sounds turn to Americana, Rockabilly, and all things that swing.  The sound these two make, needs to be seen live.  No better setting, that Studio 84 for this one.  This show had our satisfaction guaranteed attached, and was insane fun, almost too much.

SHOW #5

CHRIS TRAPPER: SAT, 09/26/15

With our last show, being our fifth show in total, we have now gone from Trooper, to Trapper.  Chris Trapper, singer songwriter, at it's finest, shined as bright, if not brighter than any of our other shows (and they've all shined).  A grammy nominated artist, those folks not familiar with him, left thoroughly entertained, and impressed.  Chris usually plays on bigger stages than our little cozy stage, so it's extremely satisfying to book someone such as him.  It's more satisfying, when he enjoys the experience, that is....Studio 84.  He stayed late, and is now the first artist to kick off the "Trailer Tune" series, indulging me in a late night song, out in the trailer.

SHOW #4

SARAH BORGES WITH AMY BLACK: JUNE 27, 2015

SPECTACULAR, first outdoor show.  Both plugged in, sounded great.  The weather held up, and Sarah indulged a lucky late night group, for a great screen-house show.  These two have been weaving their way to parts far from home, bringing their sound, and spreading the word, and are destined to be better known than they already are.  If you don't know them, you need to.  SHPEKTAQULAR!

SHOW #3

AMY BLACK: MARCH 7, 2015

Great night, with Amy Black and her husband Ryan Black on drums.  Great way to break the nasty spell of Winter, and warm things up.  Some new faces joined us, and the room was full once again.

Look us up on facebook, (like us, and you'll love us) search for Studio 84 House Concerts.

SHOW #2

SARAH BORGES, WITH WARD HAYDEN, FROM GIRLS GUNS & GLORY: OCT 4TH, 2014

The Middleboro Micracle.....We had 50 people, and the show was over the top, everything about it.  Two artists that are used to playing bigger rooms, but still love the connection of an intimate setting, giving everyone the chance to discover their talents, up close and personal.  We now know, that we can seat up to 55 people, and our worst seat, is the best seat.

SHOW #1  THE MAIDEN VOYAGE!  TROOP!

GREG TROOPER: 2/22/2014  "AND SO IT BEGINS"

Studio 84's first show, took place on 02/22/14.

First show will be tough to beat, seeing it was with the great Greg Trooper.

36 people in attendance, most if not all, completely entertained, by the songs and stories, sung and told by Greg.

Food and drink for all, and we now look forward to booking our next show.  Some names up for a possible show, are....Chris Trapper, Danielle Miraglia, Sarah Borges, Amy Black, and rounding out the wish list, Lorri Mckenna.
